Desert Hills Coaster

Tulsa In Ink Desert Hills Coaster

    $9.95

    Product description

The Desert Hills Motel was built in 1953 with 50 units. The motel is a Hollywood star in its own right, as some scenes from the movie "The Christmas Child" and "Return to Sender," were filmed there. The rooms are lined up diagonally, an unusual but efficient architectural design that allowed many large rooms to be constructed on a relatively small tract of land. The neon sign out front, which features a glowing green cactus, was refurbished for the 2004 International Tulsa Route 66 Festival, as a signature of the mother road.

Waterstone coaster. Freakishly absorbent from hot or cold drinks. Protects furniture from moisture damage. Printed designs are durable and fade resistant.
