Shotgun Sam, the pizza man, and his horse's name is Alice. For many Tulsans, the old Pizza Palace will be cherished in their memories as a spot for cheap slices and the place to go for live music. The first location opened August 4, 1967, at 1905 S. Sheridan Road and expanded to many locations (one of which was home to Garth Brooks' first job!), but sadly, the last one closed in OKC in 1992.
